ANCIENT INDIA: Anonymous, ca. 500-400 BC, AR ½ karshapana (1.72g), Ra-, 4 punches: elephant right, 4 crescents & pellets around annulet with dot in center (cf. R-195 for similar with 5 crescents) (twice), and peculiar critter (R-) (type B1), round flan, lovely example, choice XF. Painganga was located to the southwest of Nagpur.
