Description
CEYLON: AE token, Pridmore-115, Brunk C-79, bold countermark T C on British East India Company ½ anna of 1835, VF. Various early Ceylon and foreign 19th Century coins were countermarked TC (incuse) sometime between 1860 and 1890. Pridmore suspects they were used in Ceylon.
