NGUYEN DYNASTY: AR bai badge (27.75g), cf. Silvester-6/C/1, 42 x 61mm, for Imperial Guard officer of 5th class, ngu dang / thi ve ("fifth class guard") // the name Huynh Ke Thinh, both sides within decorated rectangular borders, holed at the top, light hairlines, EF. Bài, meaning "tablet", was a rectangular insignia of rank and position worn by officials of various levels. It was made in gold, silver and other materials and in different sizes depending on the rank of the bearer.
