TIMURID: Timur, 1370-1405, AR tanka (6.28g), Shaqq, ND/DM, A-2386, Shaqq was an alternate name for Bamm in the eastern section of Kirman province; a few Muzaffarid coins of Shah Shuja' have the full name shaqq-i bamm (cf. Zeno-47147), VF, RRR. This is the first full tanka of Timur we have seen for the mint of Shaqq, known for some of the earlier local denominations in the name of Timur (before AH795).
