HEPHTHALITE: Anonymous, late 5th or early 6th century, AR drachm (4.21g), G-, design derived from Göbl #171, the second type of Peroz (457-484), but without any legend on the obverse; reverse double-struck, with imitating "mint signature" at the right and blank where a date or mark could be included; appears to be an unpublished variety, VF-EF, RRR.
