BEIKTHANO: 9th/10th century, AR unit (5.98g), Mahlo-56c, rising sun with 5 rays above and 5 rays below // srivatsa with stylized center, bhadrapitha left, swastika right, letter "sa" above the swastika, EF, RR. This type, with the "rising sun" engraved as two intersected flat crescents, was undoubtedly a local imitative issue and known examples show a great variation of weight.
