GHORID: 'Ala al-Din al-Husayn, 1st reign 1149-1151, AR ½ dirham (1.53g), NM, ND, A-L1754.2, with the titles al-malik al-mu'azzam 'alâ al-din, citing the overlord Muizz al-Din Sanjar and the caliph al-Muqtafi; style of the contemporary Ghaznavid silver dirhams, first reported example of the half dirham, clear by weight and flan thickness, VF to EF, RRR. Struck from the same dies as the full dirham (#304608).
