INDONESIA: SUMATRA: LOT of 7 small tin units ("piloncitos"), weighing between 1.34g (2 kupang) and 0.43g (2/3 kupang), featuring a number of motifs like an elephant, bull, turtle, fish, conch shell, or flower pot, Sanskrit letter Ta, with stellate or cruciform patterns on reverse, attributed by the consignor to the late Srivijaya Empire, rarely seen in the West; most VF-VF+, all devices quite clear, quite a lovely group; retail value $250, lot of 7 pieces.
