CHINA (PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC): 5 fen, ND (1980), Qinhu Leprosy Hospital opaque light blue plastic token, circular with a central hole; tài xiàn qín hú yi yuàn (Qinhu Hospital, Taixian County) above and below bìng yuán dài yòng juan (For Patient Use), lower case Latin letters 'tqy' above on reverse in a small diamond which probably stand for 'Taixian Qinhu Yiyuan' (Qinhu Hospital of Taixian [County]), EF, RRR, ex Heritage World Coin Auctions, CICF Signature Sale 3032, Lot 24475 (part). Part of a five-token series listed in the book "The Numismatic Aspects of Leprosy", by Roger R. McFadden, John Grost, and Dennis F. Marr as No. 150-154, on pages 19 and 20. This is an exceedingly rare token; only the second example only one we have handled of this rare leprosarium issue from Qinhu, Jiangsu Province, China.
