BYZANTINE EMPIRE: LOT of 94 bronze and 5 silver coins, including 57 bronzes from Anastasius I to Constans II, about half of which 10 nummi & 5 nummi, with a few larger denominations, including 2 Justinian I "AISP" 16 nummi of Thessalonika; plus 37 others of later Byzantine, Ancient Greece, Judaean, Nabataean, Parthian, Arab-Byzantine, Sasanian (AR drachm Khusru II), and a few Islamic dynasties (including Ilkhan Arghun AR dirham Tabriz AH685, and 2 interesting Afghan cast silver tokens with floral decoration); average circulated conditions, many quite worn but clearly identifiable, most attributed by consignor on accompanying flips; retail value $700, lot of 94 pieces.
