ROMAN EMPIRE: LOT of 41 Imperial & Provincial bronze coins from Augustus to Licinius II, including Nero Perinthus as (RPC-1751), Faustina I as (RIC-1084), Elagabalus Antioch 8 Assaria (McAlee-807c), 2 Severus Alexander Antioch 8 assaria (BMC Galatia-474 & McAlee 845c), Philip I Viminacium AE (Varbanov-138), Trebonianus Gallus Antioch 8 assaria (SNG Cop-292), 21 large folles (3 of Diocletian, 3 of Maximinus II, 5 of Galerius, 1 of Maxentius, 5 of Constantius I, 2 of Maxentius, 2 of Licinius), plus 4 Judaean prutahs and several smaller coins; average circulated conditions with worn early bronzes but many decent folles, almost all attributed by the consignor on accompanying flips; retail value $900, lot of 41 pieces.
