ATTICA: Athens, AR tetradrachm (17.11g), 165/4 BC, HGC-4/1602, Thompson-379e/g, New Style coinage, helmeted head of Athena right // owl standing right on amphora, head facing, winged kerykeion to left, Ξ on amphora, ME below, A-ΘE, followed by magistrates ΠOΛY-ΧAP, NIKOΓ and ΘEMIΣ / TOKΛH, all within laurel wreath, a few small marks, light rose-colored toning, accompanied by old dealer's ticket, choice VF, ex Bal Harbour Collection, ex Ponterio & Associates.
