Description
CRUSADERS: KINGDOM OF JERUSALEM: AV bezant (4.12g), "Misr", AH"361", Ma-1, A-—, in the name of the Fatimid caliph al-Mu 'izz (953-975), month of Jumada I, derived from type Nicol-363, VF-EF, RR. Very early Crusader issue, probably struck circa 1090-1100 or slightly later. Clearly debased calligraphy, with several minor spelling errors and overall distinctive appearance.
