UNITED STATES: 1 cent, 1867, PCGS graded AU55, Indian Head type, S, ex Jim Farr Collection. 1867 is a moderately scarce date across all grades, with most circulated survivors being heavily worn and/or corroded. Mint State pieces are very scarce, with fully red gems being genuinely rare.
