DUTCH INDIA: TUTICORIN: Anonymous, ca. 1760-1794, AV pagoda, Mitch-838, Fr-1515, Venkateshwara standing, facing, holding conch & discus, granulated reverse (hence anepigraphic), NGC graded MS64, ex Pattabhi Raman Collection. This style was struck long after the death of Venkatapiraya in 1641, and continued under European authority.
