Description

RAJGIR: Anonymous, 2nd century BC, AE square (0.97g), Pieper-1046 (this piece), diagonally arranged cross within square frame, decorative border, uniface, bold VF, RR. Rajgir was capital of ancient Magadha. Its early local coins are rare and only a few have been found in the ancient ruins of the town.
