SELEUKID KINGDOM: Seleukos I Nikator, 312-280 BC, AR tetradrachm (17.13g), Seleukeia on the Tigris, CS-130.10b, laureate head of Zeus right // Athena in elephant quadriga, brandishing spear & shield, anchor above, monograms AN and BEK below, lovely strike, attractive VF. Another example, same dies, was sold at Freeman & Sear Mail Bid Sale 14, Lot 265, in 2007.
