Newell-141 (unlisted dies); HGC-3.1, 1014d. Obverse: Diademed and horned head right; Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY, Poseidon, with foot propped on rock, standing left, holding trident, and resting arm upon leg; monogram to lower right. Struck from an extremely artistic obverse die, this majestic piece offers intense eye appeal and resounding brilliance, along with solid centering. A decided cut above that which is usually encountered.
