GREAT BRITAIN. Mint Error -- Double Brockage Obverse -- 6 Pence, 1964. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield.
S-4149; KM-903. The first obstruction is from a previously struck 6 Pence that had flipped over, shifted and struck again featuring the faint incuse mirror image of Elizabeth II and portions of the legend. The second obstruction much like a normal brockage displays the upper right quadrant of the reverse. Possible evidence of a third obstruction near the rim between 1 o'clock and 3 o'clock show what appears to be an outline of the reeded edge. A highly interesting and unusual error destine to see spirited bidding from the specialist.
