A piece of watermarked paper for the Hong Kong Chartered Bank 5 Dollars showing the profile of a young man at right. The paper was supplied by Portals to Waterlow and Sons for printing at the time. Suitable for the scholar or collector interested in how banknotes are designed and produced. Exceedingly rare.

香港渣打銀行伍圓水印紙,右側可見一青年男性側面肖像。此水印紙由Portals造紙廠供應予Waterlow and Sons印鈔公司印製鈔票之用。極其珍罕,是研究及收藏紙幣設計與印製過程的學者和藏家不可多得的珍品。 (t) On September 1, 2019, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector's items of Chinese origin, including bullion and numismatic coins and banknotes.
