Shanghai, serial number 001416. Orange, eagle perched on pedestal between two globes at center. The reverse displays a similar motif but in dark blue-green ink. A design type which is always popular among collectors and this near uncirculated offering, with fresh inks and superior paper body, is sure to attract attention. Slight miscut such that the 'American Bank Note Company' from the note above is wholly visible in the upper margin. PMG Comments "Miscut, Previously Mounted."
