A rare uniface obverse proof for this elusive 500,000 Yuan printed by SBNC. The comments on the reverse " Approved for Production: L-4 COLOR O.K 5-2-49" offer a good insight on how banknotes were produced and as such a highly interesting item for the advanced collectors. PMG Comments "Toning."

民國三十八年中央銀行金圓券伍拾萬圓。正面單面。
此伍拾萬圓正面單面，存世稀少，彌足珍貴。其背面印有"Approved for Production: L-4 COLOR O.K 5-2-49"清晰可辨，為研究當時紙幣印製流程提供了難得的實物佐證，對於洞悉中國銀行史和紙幣印刷史的資深藏家而言，更是一張極具研究價值和收藏價值的珍品。PMG備註"變黃"。
