THAILAND. 2 Baht (1/2 Tamlung), ND (1863). Bangkok Mint. Rama IV. NGC MS-66.
Dav-308; KM-Y-12. Standing atop the NGC Census, being tied with only one other specimen, this exceptional Thai Double Baht offers a rich and serene luster, with sharply applied details and a sheen that gives off a perfect appearance. Marks or hits of any consequence are not seen, with even miniscule marks being hard to locate on the surfaces. A truly pleasing example that should doubtlessly appeal to the many collectors of the coinage of Thailand seeking an example that is at the pinnacle of condition.
