Impressive Gold 2-1/2 Baht
THAILAND. Gold 2-1/2 Baht , ND (1863). Bangkok Mint. Rama IV. NGC MS-64.
Fr-17; KM-Y-13. A seldom encountered gold denomination, especially this attractive as a near-Gem, this present example yields a great deal of brilliant luster paired with a brassy-olive hue to the gold. Some minor striking weakness is noted, but does not get in the way of the eye appeal on full display.
