(t) CHINA. State of Chu. Warring States Period. "Yuan Jin" Gold Cube Money, ND (ca. 475-221 B.C.). Graded "85" by Hua Xia Coin Grading Company.
Hartill-5.1. Dimensions: 42.8mm x 5.2 mm; Weight: 109.1 gms. Obverse: Square stamp reading "Ying Yuan" in seal script; Reverse: Plain. This impressive early gold issue displays a pleasing pale gold tone with areas of brighter coloration in the recesses with minor earthen deposits on the reverse adding to its originality. An EXTREMELY RARE occurrence to have a multiple cube fragment still intact, let alone one of this size. A real treat for collectors to acquire such an impressive artifact.

尺寸:42.8mm x 5.2 mm, 重:109.1克。正面:方形印章,篆書"郢爰" 背:光背。早期金鑄發行氣勢恢宏,呈淡金色,凹陷處可見亮麗光澤,背面略有積土, 更顯其年代久遠。多塊金餅合鑄而成的藏品彌足珍貴,如此尺寸更是世間罕見, 極具收藏價值。 (t) On September 1, 2019, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector's items of Chinese origin, including bullion and numismatic coins and banknotes.
