Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Doylestown Bank of Bucks County. 1834 $10. Very Good.
No. 723. Plate A. Men harvesting grain in field with buildings in background at center. Woman carrying grain at left and right between the top and bottom denomination counters. X counters to left and right along the bottom "10" at upper left and right along the top margin. A rare early issued note from this Doylestown issuer that was listed as unseen in Haxby who did not even have a description for the type. Solid paper and dark inks are noticed while some minor traces of a previous mounting can be seen on the back.
