Obverse: Three-quarter view of the cathedral exterior from the southwest, legend in exergue below; Reverse: Interior view down the nave toward the apse from a viewpoint left of the center aisle centerline, anepigraphic fields to left and right, signature in exergue below. An example of the scarce French legends variety of the York Cathedral medal with lovely mahogany brown surfaces. Note that the PCGS slab provides the incorrect (English language variety) references for this medal.
