HGC-4, 1597; Kroll-8. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Well-struck with full facial features, neck truncation, and prominent partial crest on the head of Athena. The reverse fares just as well with little evidence of wear. A lovely example with plenty of lustrous charm.
