UNIQUE in private hands, and the only example recorded besides one in Oslo and one in Bergen. The details are attractive and appealing, with only limited drawdown and actual circulation. The noted cleaning is evident in some brightness, but this flaw is relatively minor when considering the elusivity of the type. Peter Grüner was appointed mintmaster in Christiania on the 25th of February 1643 after having held this post at the Mint in Copenhagen from 1628 to 1636.
