1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 33.44-W.3, W-4015. Rarity-6-. Draped Bust Left. VF-30 (PCGS).
134.8 grains. Light olive brown surfaces are slightly mottled and gently porous throughout but still maintain a reasonably glossy appearance. Centered a little low and left on both sides, with just the tip of the A impacted on the obverse and the base of the date on the reverse. A broad border around the right reverse is the trade-off. A bit of light planchet texture, but pleasing overall. A satisfying example of a very scarce variety.
PCGS# 687361.
