1787 Fugio Cent. Pointed Rays. Newman 6-W, W-6730. Rarity-3. STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils. EF Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS).
128.8 grains. Overall sharp definition and freedom from sizable marks are strong suits for this piece. Dominant medium brown color is also appealing, but the surfaces are rough and granular explaining the PCGS qualifier, the lower right obverse also with some dark charcoal scale. With the amount of detail that it retains, this more affordable EF coin will nicely represent the Newman number in a budget-minded Fugio cent collection.
