NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Ducat, 1724. PCGS MS-63.
Fr-285; KM-7.1. Weight: 3.50 gms. A remarkably Choice and well-produced example of this hammered Dutch issue. Plenty of delicate frosty luster coats the surfaces and nearly no sign of handling can be found, which is credited to the coin's attribution to the Akerendam shipwreck the very same year the coin was minted.
From the S.P. Rutherford Collection. Ex: Akerendam Shipwreck (sunk 1724) with certificate of authenticity.
