KM-7.1; Cal-1553; Restrepo-M46.15. Weight: 26.12 gms. This charming sea-salvaged cob is a great representative of this popular pillar design unique to Colombia. Mintmark, assayer, and denomination are all easily spotted, though the date is slightly harder to make out due to off-centering and the mild roughness resulting from saltwater submersion. A pleasing dark gunmetal coloration adds to the coin's rustic eye appeal.
