FRANCE. National Convention. Bell Metal 2 Sols Module Essai (Pattern), 1793. Paris Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-64.
Maz-337 var. (stars on rev.). Plain edge. By A. Dupré. Weight: 24.04 gms. Struck on a well prepared planchet that is rather heavier than most of these types of trials, this near-Gem glistens with an abundance of radiant luster and provides excellent detail throughout. No doubt quite RARE when encountered so enticing.
