FRANCE. Constitution. Louis XVI Accepting the Constitution Tin Medal, 1791. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, AU Details.
Maz-Unlisted. By A. Dupré & N.-M. Gatteaux. Diameter: 36.8mm; Weight: 19.23 gms. Obverse: Louis standing left, placing hand upon constitution set upon altar; behind to left, standing figures of Minerva (representing Liberty) and Aequitas (representing Equality); Reverse: Hercules right, slaying the hydra to lower right with club; border of arrowheads around. As such, EXTREMELY RARE and interesting.
From the Richard Margolis Collection (acquired from Henry Kotzen in June 1986). Ex: Henry Kotzen Collection (acquired from Hans Schulman on 4 November 1957). Ex: Charles N. Cooley Collection.
