NERO CLAUDIUS DRUSUS (SON OF TIBERIUS AND FATHER OF CLAUDIUS, DIED 9 B.C.). AE Sestertius, Rome Mint, struck under Claudius, A.D. 42-43. ANACS VF 35.
RIC-109. Obverse: Bare head left; Reverse: Claudius seated left on curule chair, holding branch and resting hand on lap; scattered arms around chair. Deep green surfaces, with a charming portrait, though some minor tooling is noted among the legends and within the hair, as well as some repatination. Nevertheless, a solid representative of a RARER figure in the Julio-Claudian dynasty.
