A moderately circulated example of one of the most iconic notes ever issued by the United States. A vignette entitled "History Instructing Youth" executed in a variety of vivid colors amidst a backdrop of Washington D.C. assumes a canvas-like prominence while separate portraits of George and Martha Washington adorn the reverse.
