1857-O Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. Winter-1, the only known dies. Unc Details--Cleaned (NGC).

Though 34,000 examples of the date were struck, the 1857-O has proven to be an elusive date in Mint State. The presently offered example is generally well struck, with nicely defined details visible on both sides, and no wear or friction on the surfaces. Some light lines and somewhat bright surfaces indicate an old cleaning, but overall the coin presents very well.
