1885 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-66 (PCGS). CAC.
Dominant olive-russet patina to both sides, the central reverse exhibits lighter pewter-gray while the obverse has intermingled iridescent blue and pink. Reflective fields support smartly impressed devices, the entire package expertly preserved with premium Gem quality. The Mint struck 930 Proof Liberty Seated quarters in 1885, and most survivors grade no finer than Choice. This outstanding Proof-66 represents a significant find for the discerning numismatist.
