WISCONSIN. Mayfield. 1864 Edward Wirth. Fuld-460A-1do. Rarity-9. Copper-Nickel. Plain Edge. Overstruck on an 1864 Copper-Nickel Indian Cent. MS-65 (NGC).
19 mm. Handsome medium tan surfaces with a tinge of pale rose. This is a sharply struck store card, faint traces of the undertype discernible on both sides, including its date (very faintly) on the reverse. Frosty luster and bushes of iridescent apricot and golden-blue iridescence further the appeal of this solid Gem Mint State example.
