A pair of Colonial-era pieces from Maryland and Connecticut. The Treasury Warrant from Connecticut was cancelled at some point and bears witness to that by way of a circular punch and a countersignature from some official. A series of contemporary annotations are likewise present on the reverse that keep track of when interest was paid on a yearly basis.
