Choice quality for this VERY RARE issue, featuring surfaces that are attractive, albeit displaying minor evidence of circulation, with no planchet adjustments or marks that catch the eye and warm orange tone on both sides that highlights the raised designs. Close inspection yields an AN 14/13 overdate that seemingly exists on all survivors, but is interesting because no 40 Francs from AN 13 are known from the Torino Mint.
