Plate A. Danforth, Wright & Co., New-York & Philad. India paper mounted on original archive book card. No protectors. Under title, reclining sailor. Intricate gray lazy "1" across the note. A superb DW proof from the 1990 ABN sale, Lot 1805, where it was one of two examples cut from a $1-$1-$2-$5 sheet.
