1938 Mercury Dime. MS-68 FB (PCGS).
Vivid mint luster gives both sides of this near Top Pop Superb Gem a bold look. Well struck design elements are frosty, standing out from the satiny feel of the fields. Traces of deep golden-brown and olive tones at the upper obverse periphery flow on the reverse, where similar hues are infused with coppery-orange and dark royal purple shades that really come to life when rotated in a light. With just a single MS-68+ FB graded higher at PCGS, this remarkably well preserved example will find itself right at home in a set placed high up on the PCGS Set Registry.
