1835 Classic Head Half Eagle. HM-1. Rarity-2+. EF-45 (PCGS). CAC.
A fully original piece with rich honey-olive color throughout. More than 371,000 half eagles were struck in 1835 and circulated as workhorse coins for years. Because of this, well worn 1835 half eagles are easily obtained, but in premium Choice EF and higher grades this issue is scarcer than many collectors realize.
