GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Wolfenbuttel. 1/4 Taler, 1604. Goslar Mint; mm: heart on crossed mining tools. Heinrich Julius. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details.
KM-5; Welter-664A. This example exhibits medium gray surfaces with a thin layer of champagne throughout. Slightly unevenly struck in the legends, likely due to the flan being slightly thin toward the one edge. Nonetheless, a solid example of this early type with particular clarity in the arms of the reverse and a bold Wild Man.
