ITALY. Tuscany. Fiorino, 1856. Leopold II. PCGS MS-64.
KM-C72a; Mont-348. A scarce type struck in Florence (hence the fleur-de-lys on the reverse) between 1842-48 and 1856-58. In an admirable state of preservation for the issue, alive with flashy cartwheel luster and enveloped by a sheen of delightfully original lavender tone.
