GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1711. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg Ludwig (future George I of Great Britain). PCGS AU-55.
Dav-423; KM-15; Welter-2158. Bold striking detail fully articulates the Wild Man's face, greatly enhancing eye appeal as compared to other survivors. Generous quantities of satin mint luster shine through, only minorly dulled across the obverse fields by slight wear. Original toning also enhances the attractiveness of this offering with pale magenta gray surfaces occasionally discharging a burst of pumpkin orange iridescence.
