1722 Rosa Americana Penny. Martin 2.23-C.6, W-1264. Rarity-4. UTILE DULCI. AU-55 (PCGS).
With a few glints of olive patina to otherwise blended brassy-gold and rose-brown colors. The reverse shows some roughness and ancient surface scale upon close inspection, but the in hand appearance is generally smooth, and with universally bold detail there is much to recommend this handsome piece to colonial era type collectors.
