This piece is a real find. Locating any two dollar banknote with a single digit serial number can be a multi-year treasure hunt. Track and Price shows that this Choice CU $2 1976 H00000005A was last sold on 03-12-2012 at auction for $1610. Over 11 years later, just accounting for inflation, this note should realize nearly double that price in today's auction. Just a terrific match to the other serial number 00000005 notes in this auction.
